I'm one big dork. Most of the problems that are assigned, allow us to make some simplistic assumptions to make our lives easier (since the class isn't about programming)... but for some reason, I always feel the need to write up a general solution that will handle every type of input. Today however, I ran out of patience. After several wasted hours, I decided that the limitations of the course software made it impossible for to do what I wanted to do. I ended up doing the "easy" way in no more than five minutes.
I really liked my ORIE TA this semester. All of my ORIE TA's so far have been useless, except him. Seriously, every time that I asked some ORIE TA a question, I got either a worthless response or none at all! This guy writes me paragraphs for the simplest questions! Also, at the beginning of every section, he gives us a brain teaser, so that if we're bored, we can try and solve that instead of listening to him (if he goes over old stuff and we're comfortable with the material)... so that's fun. I'm going to give him a very good evaluation.
I'd like to write more, but I have to pick up clamee at the airport in 1/2 hour. She has a busy weekend (and week) ahead of her, so I'm making her some "care packages." They're just some bag lunches so that she can eat once in a while during her busy schedule. Of course, these aren't just your regular ol' bag lunches... they're made with real love. tee hee. :) She'll need one tonight because she has a group meeting right when she gets back.
